11/12 2024 – This project has started!
11/26/2024 – Acoustic Tracks to 5 songs are done.
12/03/24 – Tracked acoustics to One More Time tonight after F&B.
12/17/24 – Tracked acoustics to a couple of songs tonight. 6 hour session.
01/14/25 – Took time off for the Holidays. Tracking final acoustics tonight.
02/11/25 – Family has needed much of me. Recording tracks paused.
03/11/25 – Finally tracking electric guitars. Finished Gentle Winds E. Guitars.
03/25/25 – Tracked Electric Guitars for Washed and I Cry tonight.
04/08/25 – Tracked e guitars tonight to 3 more songs.
April 22nd 2025 – Wrote an additional verse to Ku'u Hom'e O' Kaha lu'u.
April 29th, 2025 – Laid down lead 1 guitars to Tried So Hard.
May 6th 2025 – Recorded a lead track to Internal Wars.
May 20th 2025 – All guitar tracks have been recorded. Yes!
May 27th 2025 – Free flow through all guitar tracks.
June 10th 2025 – Continued retracking guitars on Internal Wars.
June 17th – Re-tracked Internal Wars to finish guitar tracks.
July 8th – Finalizing rough mixes to send to Matt and Charlie.
July 29th – Worked on bass tracks for Creator and Will You Wait.
August 22nd 2025 – Working on Bass tracks. Finished Gentle Winds and Thing For You.
August 26th – Tracked Return bass tracks.
Sept 8th 2025 – Drove to Charlie's to rock out the 3 tracks.
Sept 18th 2025 – Recorded electrics on Free. Djembe tracks for Will You Wait and Ego.
Sept 23rd 2025 – Working on djembe tracks. Elijah wants to lay drum tracks to 3 songs!
October 14th 2025 – Lot's of organizing and admin stuff. Album launches Feb 2026. 🙂
Feb 24th 2026 – Elijah and I had a session. He laid down rhythm sections to a couple of tracks.
July 28th – Finally had a solid session tonight. Wow, it's been a long time and I had to blow the dust off my gear and remember what/where everything went and how to use it. Ha! This project is 2 sessions away from handing over to Jerome for the mix and mastering. I am stoked!
August 11th 2026 – Another session in and I'm super grateful. I tracked 4 songs for vocals. Now it's just a bass track I need to record from Charlie and this project can be handed over to Jerome for the Mix and Mastering. Stoked!
Sept 6th 2026 – Tonight I spent some time polishing a bit of vocals for Thing For You and Silence. And then I started uploading the raw STEMS to Rome's folders to prepare for mixing. I'm amazed at how long this project is taking, I planned for 1 year, it's been nearly two.
